Helpful hints for using the site.
I thought it would be great to start this forum so we can possibly make life a lil easier and quicker for all involved. So if you have some helpful hints about using the site, put them here.
1. Add me as a friend (:-) and everybody else. That way we can share things with each other. Plus, we can only send so many requests out so if we all add each other, that won't be a problem.
2. You can use the "share" button in forums/blogs/etc to share them with friends.
3. Producers, if you want people to download your tracks, you can upload them to the player, and when you are uploading them, click the button that will allow ppl to download it to their page. That way, you don't have to send emails to ppl with your tracks. Unless of course, you want to know who has your tracks (which is a good idea)....
4. If you see a downward arrow next to the name of a song, it means that the person who uploaded it has permitted you to download the song. If you don't want someone to download, edit your player as described in #3.
5. You can also allow others to just "add" your music to their page.
6. As Jack mentioned, you can also "pop out" the music player. Just click the two windows button next to arrow button on the music player.
7. How to cut and paste a music player- Go to your page, then to the player, and at the top of the player, next to the title of the song is a invisible <> symbol, which flips the player over to get the code. To see that symbol, just mouse over that blank spot to make it visible. When you see it, click that and it will flip the player over. The code to paste your player will be there.

I do have a question. When I record using my webcam camera, the music even when the volume is up as high as it can go on the player and on my external speakers, is not heard in the recording. How do you all get the music to play loud enough so that you can hear me singing the song to the beat of the tune?

8. If you make a comment on a discussion or forum and want to know when others make a reply make sure u choose the "follow" option in the right hand corner.
