Where your word's become art, and your thought's become music
Usually when we see ourselves, in our mind's eye, our sight is limited. We see what we want to project to the world. Hiding our vulnerabilities and insecurities, we mask what we fear we can't protect. We watch others and measure ourselves against them.
It's not until we start paying attention to how people react to us; our tones & inflections, body language and word selections, that we began to comprehend exactly what we project. If we are wise, we reflect on these exchanges, come to a place of understanding and make corrections in our behavior.
Life's mirror has caused me see myself through the eyes of others. I look in it often because I yearn to be a better me, regardless my current progress or past accomplishments. I see my strengths and beauty, now. I also see that which makes me grotesque. Seeing is the beginning of change. Evolution does not scare me. This is why I grow.
Are you bold enough for such introspection?
