WHEN WILL IT BE YOUR TIME????? THE SCIENCE OF THE CHINESE BAMBOO TREE

I lived my life in this Music Business much to the comparison of the "Chinese Bamboo" Tree. when you first walk past this tree in it's 4th year of Growth ( 4 years is a long time), its not a tree at all...its just a small bulb coming out of the the ground. for 4 years you see nothing but a tiny shoot coming out of a bulb, during these 4 years all the growth is underground in a massive root structure that spreads miles and miles deep and wide into the earth. but then in the 5th year, the Chinese bamboo tree's grows up to eighty feet.

You see you have to build down before you build up. the greatest builders always start building down in the ground to lay the foundation for a building before they build up, the pyramids of egypt , skyscrapers, bridges, everything is built with a deep foundation or else the structure will fall at the slightest wind or shift. I mean that to say all you guys here on On the songwriting academy site are very talented and can sing , rap and everything else, however in between time perfect your craft to the point where you even amaze yourself..when your, family, friends, me, diddy, get goosebumps when we hear your records....


If the time is not now for you, it will be just stay focused!!!!!

Yea Jack those were very encouraging words or wisdom. Building down 1st is very important. According to ur analogy...I'm in my 5th year and I think I'm pretty good...I'll let u be the judge of that Jack lol But I still have aallloottt of new equipment to buy because I'm still using the same equipment since day 1. But when its my time, I know Im gonna make a HUGE impact because I recieved "prophecy" about my future....Anyway Thanks for everything ur doing Jack!!

P.S. Hopefully I'll be blessed to have you write a couple of my joints...

thats a beautiful picture ...
makes me think of ....
everytime I progress in life i'm one step closer to getting better in what i'm doing ... a better singer, better writer, better composer, better friend, better better better... - most of all to 'feel' better about it !

but as i grow i realise the more and more how tiny tiny those steps are :-)
therefore i'm glad to have the bamboo picture in mind bcos it gives a natural picture of the process !
this is monday morning - i'm about to go to work now .... happy day to you'll & make it a better day ;-)

hey jack there is nothign i can say that hasn't already been said by the rest of us but what i will say is this "continue being the person you are in all aspects of your life personal and professional and continue in this path of altruism you been journeying on and hopefully i and everyone else will see you at the top not just in music but in life itself"

Thank you Jack!  You don't have to take the time that you do to reach out to us, or to even run this site.  That's a great analogy, and very motivating.  I'll continue to write because I love it, whether it becomes known or unknown.  I believe time is everything, and you are definitely right.  Everyone has their time and season!
