OKAY WHEN DID MURDER RAP , TIMBERLAND AND HOODIE RAP BECOME REAL RAP???? AND WHY??

HEY IM NOT TRYING TO START NOTHING BUT I HEARD JIM JONES MOTHER ON THE RADIO TALKING THE OTHER DAY THAT CONSCIOUS RAP WAS THE REAL RAP. HOWEVER I DO REMEMBER CONSCIOUS RAP BEING PART OF HIP-HOP BUT I ALWAYS HEARD WHEN I WAS KID GROWING UP IN THE LATE 70'S AND 80'S , RAPPPERS ALWAYS RAPPED ABOUT A NEW DANCE, OR HOW MUCH MONEY THEY HAD, OR EVEN RAPPING ABOUT X-MAS???? WHEN DID REAL RAP HAVE TO BE ABOUT SOMETHING CONSCIOUS ALL THE TIME??? AND WHEN DID MURDER RAP COME IN???? I'M JUST ASKING. BY THE WAY HERE IS A RECORD I HAD WHEN I WAS ABOUT 7 OR 8 THAT I PLAYED TILL IT BROKE....SUPERRHYMES WAS PRE-SLICK RICK.

At least in my mind, rap is the music that has come from Hip hop, which is a culture. Yes, it has evolved from other art forms before it... but it was reintroduced as a bullhorn for social change and to highlight the culture itself.
I believe that " REAL RAP " in a sense shares the same saying as " Beauty... ( is ) in the eye of the beholder. " It's all a state of mind to me. That being said what was the last rap record with tracks on it that touched your soul, spoke of social issues and banged in the clubs all at the same time?

NEVER!!! hip-hop started out in the heart, now its more about money than anything....its honestly sad they show those cats more respect than the ones who deserve it like scarface and the artist still keepin it real

Lets see Murder rap came to the table in late 80's and early 90's.............OMG your going way back like in the 77-78-79!!! I use to skate to that music............at the HOLIDAY Skating Rink in Haltom City FT WORTH Texas, we had a radio station the only one in FT Worth called KISS 107.9!!! That was taken'em wayyyyyy back!!! When HIP HOP was being done on basketball courts and street blocks.............WOW!! thanks!!
