about me: (copied from the "Puzzles pieces" commentbox 09.01.09 ) "hey academy-mates:) my musical puzzle. I grew up as the youngest of four sisters. My father played cello, my mother played piano. I was mostly surrounded by classical music to begin with. I was always finding animals to bring into the house and I was always playing in the garden. When I was about 8 we rented a room to a man from Jamaica who taught me about slavery and introduced me to the album"Survival". That was the first record I wished for my Bday. Later I went to some piano-lessons but I always ended up learning by ear as I couldn't read the notes easily. My mother had a Billie Holiday record that became the inspiration to my joy of singing. There is something soothing & healing in her tones. My older sisters where listening to Beatles, Crusaders, David Bowie, Randy Crawford, and many more. At my best friend place we heard her older brothers music like Frank Zappa, Thin Lizzy. In the beginning of my twenties I listened to Jeff Buckley "Grace", Pearljam, Soundgarden. Then I was asked to be the leadsinger in a Funk/Soul band and therefore I concentrated mostly on listening to that style of music for a period. A couple of years ago I felt in love with turkish music too :) I believe that my musicalpuzzle is a mix of it all ! not to forget one of the most important memories....
I used to love singing this song with my mother: "Donna, Donna"
You know what ... I'm not a big reader but i do get the point easily - it is like a construction of words and even though i'm not much into the political system - i understand what you mean - your words is some kind of a mathematically way of
showing "The truth"
Hello msK : ) I am doing okay thank you. How are you? I keep revising this poem because I keep thinking of more words to add. I guess it's a truth in progress. Does it make sense to you? I keep thinking that it is confusing to understand and thus,it doesn't make sense. I guess thats why I keep changing it.
It is critical we ridicule our political system
as constituents with satirical analytical analysis
of their pitiful abysmal dismal institutional
systemic systematic semantics and antics
that produce problematic pragmatic views
with disregard to constitutional law they use
in this regard to seduce those who choose
to not use their intuition instead they listen
to the news filled with propaganda to slander
those who do seek the truth ...speak the truth!
