I agree...just listening to some music for like a week or more instead of focusing so much on making the music, that really helps.

when i get writers block or production block. instead of working on tracks i start to organize my sounds or just read or get away from music for a few days. do thing with the family. but the best thing i do when i have a block is to network find new contacts etc.

Sometimes there is too much on our mind and creativity can't come out. Im writing everything down and try to sort the chaos of all the paper the worst thing my appartment is full of paper...lol..too much thoughts on my mind. You have this talent in you Liam and you will never lose it sometimes its just taking a nap. I cant wait to hear something of your new work soon make sure you keep me posted you know where you find me...

i had it the other day.. im sitting there running the beat and the first verse came soo freely and it sounded cool, hook wasnt so tight however it was there words were flowing through , second verse was jus not happening. lol.. needed a sandwich, that didnt work.. sat there tryna push myself but i feel that forcing your words out is not the way.. it should jus come easily , especialy if the beat is inspiring enough!!

I agree with Dani. Anything new, different, refreshing can renew the mind. Rest is important, too...and good nutrition for brain and physical energy. Right now, I'm writing "pretty" words and "ugly" words with rhyming words in my writer's notebook. (I like the sound of pretty words. Ugly words sound harsh/shrill/odd).

I overcome it with giving my brain some work. I do just things I haven't done before or I'm actually not doing. Everything new will bring new thoughts and therewith new inspiration. But the best thing is you will find new sites on yourself you haven't even known before.
