Greetings of Peace and Blessings;
My full name is Asiyah Hanaan Muhammad, pronounced (ah-see-ah) ( ha-non).
I'm a mother, wife, homeschool teacher, student and full time home maker.
I am also a singer/songwriter who have had a passions for the arts ever since I can remeber. I always say "I didn't choose music, music choose me" I can't help but do it. My main desire to to get my songs in the "right hands". I would love to have my songs playing for centuries on the radio, television and internet. My mother, father and pretty much my entire family can sing and write so I believe my passion for music is written in my genes and DNA. I enjoy writing all styles of music, and I also like to colab. I like to take challenges with my lyrics, but I always attempt to tell a consistent story. Sometimes I think the more simple...the better. I believe in love songs, the way they use to be sang, from the heart, from the soul, from experience. I have to admit music is so not what it use to be. We Musicians through, lyrics, voice, rythem, beats, melodies, are ALL teachers. Each of us have the ability to inspire and buildand create, or deminish and destroy. My goal is to allow myself to be used as positive tool and instrument for sharing music that makes us think, love, dance, laugh, be creative, make memories, appreciate and even at time cry. ..........Thanks for comin' thru!'
