Renew Me lyrics/vocals me; Instrumentals A.D.P. Muzik, UK
Flow refreshingly
into my thirsty spirit
renew me again

See the sun burst through
hovering clouds that succumb to you
God's providence

He leads me here the man I love
to wander in the search above
cuz I need protection

radiance I see, piercing pillows in the sky
looks like God is smiling on me

flow refreshingly into my thirsty spirit, renew me!

W.H.O.L.E. lyrics/vocals by me; instrumental, Dyna Turner for DreamBeatz Production

W.H.O.L.E. (repeat)
Christ made me whole, whole, whole, whole,
Christ made me whole, whole, whole, whole, whole, whole, whole, whole, whole
Came into my life saved me from sin oneday
cleansed my mind, my heart and made me a new creature
He took my life, sent me down the righteous path
I love Christ, He made me whole, whole, whole
Christ made me W.H.O.L.E. (repeat)

Foreigner (lyrics & vocals Lynn Danielle Treasure; instrumentals Dyna Turner
I'm a foreigner
from a distant land
little help I get
learning all the new ways around me
learning all the new rules of love

A hand reach
from a distant man
came just in time
to rescue me
teaching me the new ways of this new land
teaching me the new rules of love

An open hand
from a distant man
offering strength
to rescue me
teaching me the new ways of this new land
teaching me the new rules of love

I'm a foreigner

Wait
I need to fit
the pieces right in place
just for us
Wait
I can't squeeze them in all wrong
cause the picture must be clear
I'm a foreigner

Homebound (lyrics & vocals by me, instrumental by Syllabus)
I'm lost on this journey to love
I can't find my way home
following trails that wind through dark paths
Far behind you my love trails
bread crumbs left by your touch
aren't enough
to get me
back home to you
I'm lost on this journey to love

Shy (lyrics & vocals by me, instrumentals by Dyna Turner)
Hiding in the shadows of yesterday's pain
will I ever trust love's call again

Once bitten,twice shy
three times removed from you
remnants of shattered heart
hold me captive

Once bitten, twice shy
three times removed from you
broken dreams clutter my path
cut me deep

Molly's Prayer (instrumental by Ghost Walker. Lyrics/vocals by Me. Scripture Proverbs 22:4 NIV )
(Scripture Memory Song) is a prayer for my daughter Molly

Humility and the fear of the Lord bring wealth and honor and life.

Safety Zone (instrumental by Tony Dofat, lyrics/vocals/vocal arrangements by Me)
My love is in the safety zone
My love is in the safety zone

Playing with my heart, tearing us apart
wondering why you gaming with me
why you gaming with me? repeat

The day our eyes touched the image
of what could come of this attraction.
I vowed to keep my emotions blocked,
I vowed to keep them in the safety zone.
Your magnetic force pulled all of my defenses down.

You're playing with my heart, tearing us apart,
wondering why you gaming with me.
why you gaming with me?
Pulling us apart, gaming with me.
Why?

My name is Lynn Danielle Treasure, emerging contemporary gospel artist from the St. Louis area. I have been singing and writing for a very long time. As a young girl I enjoyed thinking up songs. When I was about 9 or 10 years old, I wrote my first song, a country-western poking fun of my baby sister. We still sing that song! In high school I sang in the choir and entered pageants for college tuition. Upon going to college, I continued to pursue music, theatre, dance and radio announcing as hobbies. As life has it, my detour from music came as a gift, a beautiful family. I however, continued to find time for music by singing in church choirs, attending concerts, and compiling a large collection of contemporary gospel and other favorite music. When the time came, I invested in vocal coaching at a local conservatory and studied music theory classes at my church. In 2005 the timing was right for me to travel and attend vocal competitions, music conferences and showcases. Since that time I have been very blessed to have met and worked with some very talented people in gospel, country-pop, classical, piano and R&B. In 2007 I stepped into the recording studio recording the first cut of my demo, "Meet Lynn Danielle Treasure." Musicians classifiy my "Janet Jackson meets the Sister Act choir" sound as "urban angelic." Visit me @ www.sonicbids.com/lynndanielle to hear my EP.
On JKSA, I aspire to journal write daily as a songwriting exercise. My aspirations for being on this forum are to hone my craft and gain helpful feedback from meaningful contacts. I am currently putting the final touches on my debut project. Check me out @ www.myspace.com/sing4hymn and www.sonicbids.com/lynndanielle

My Day Life

Ok. I'm a teacher. There's no hiding it any longer! I love teaching. It allows me the opportunity to give and to get. I get the chance to continue to develop my skills and craft, work with many interesting people, and help mold young minds into intelligent minds. I really enjoy the JKSWA because it helps me grow as a person, an artist, a mom, a friend, a teacher, a woman of God. This forum has brought so much sunshine into my day because it is a vehicle for my creativity, and… Continue

Jabberwocky by Lewis Carroll 1832-8198

Lewis Carroll (1832-1898)
from Through the Looking Glass

Jabberwocky

'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!"

He took his vorpal sword in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought--
So rested he by the Tumtum tree,
And stood awhile in thought.

And, as i… Continue

The New Guard

Ok. Here's a confession. I am first to admit I am no spring chicken. Passed my twenties yesterday! ...or so it seems. But I'm no rickety old haggardly spinster! So it comes as sort of a suprise that I have dealt with some very strange nuisances recently. First, the leg scratch. Next, the sore toe. Now the tooth sensitivity. What the heck? Why am I even blogging about this? To vent, yes. To share, yes. To make a mental notation of when these weird afflictions crossed my path? Yes. But I really th… Continue

Till Your Ground for Potential and Success

Antonio Neal is a gospel recording artist, songwriter, musician who has worked with Kierra Sheard, EMI, Darlene McCoy, and many other gospel greats. His current project, Live, Laugh, Love, is a compilation of love songs to encourage married Christian couples towards intimacy. Although I do not know Antonio personally, when I discovered he is originally from Alton, Illinois, a city just outside of St. Louis, I felt like he was family, and I have supported his work ever since. Y… Continue
