A bit of Background Stuff covering the past 6 months 2008 / 2009

I’m based in the sunny UK and looking to get signed, do supports and get my music out their.

Been singer/song writer of rock/indie songs for a few years now and really love performing on stage. I write original music and have I feel a different vocal and music sound. The main thing is I don’t try to sound like anyone else.

Last 6 Months achievements

Jamie Oliver’s Celebrity Chef Unsigned Band Competition August 2008
• Out of over 12,000 entrants we were voted one of Jamie Oliver’s top 24 unsigned bands 2008.

Live & Unsigned 2009
1st heat - Out of over 10,000 entrants for the Live & Unsigned we won an opportunity to play live.
2nd heat - In a regional live heat in February we won the opportunity to play in the 3rd heat.
3rd Heat - Played the regional final held on 15th March 09 at the Journal Tyne Theatre Newcastle which covered Scotland, North of England etc. The vote was put out for the public to vote. On 2nd April 09 after a few weeks of public voting I won the public call in vote. I decided not to get friends of family to ring in to see whether i could win over the crowd who came to see the bands ....good news is got through.

Radom Facts

1. October 2008 - Set up a MySpace site and uploading a few tracks with over 47,000 listens to our music up to 29th March 09 log onto MySpace site on the following link :- http://www.myspace.com/wwwmyspacecommrchips

2. Entered unsigned competition to play at the Huge UK national V festival. http://roadtov.com/artists/mr-cchips/ and votes appreciated .. its free!

3. Got an invite from Diddy’s MySpace site to be a friend which was really cool.

4. Quben from myspace suggested I get my music on this site so a big thank you to Quben.
