Charles Ryan is not afraid to take chances in a business that sticks to working formulas and is afraid to cross boundaries.

As a young boy growing up in a musical family, Charles Ryan has been given every opportunity to listen to many different styles of music. His father was a known singer and performer in Detroit, MI, and in Indianapolis, IN. His cousin Joe Parks is a well known songwriter with many awards and writing credits out of Detroit,MI. Musicians and producers such as Prince, Herbie Hancock, The Neptunes, Pat Metheney, J Dilla, Al B Sure, Michael Jackson, The Brothers Johnson, Flyte Tyme, Ryan Leslie, Kashif, and Putumayo heavily influenced Charles Ryan.

Charles Ryan vows to invent his own type of music called NewWorldSoul, which is a hybrid form of soul music. He infuses world instruments in modern R&B, Neo-Soul, and Hip-Hop. The latest project that he is working on is his debut album entitled; "NewWorldSoul" , it is a 9 track album that will introduce Charles Ryan as a music artist to the world in the early fall of 2011.
