I am an aspiring songwriter, who loves music of various genres. I began writing as a teenager, but have now accepted the fact that songwriting is my heart and what I see doing in my future. I love how music makes me feel and crave lyrics that have meaning. I mainly write r&b, contemporary gospel, neo-soul, and pop. I can write for any genre when I set my mind to it. I am such a believer in following my dreams and pursuing every goal that I have set for myself.

I have a B.S. degree in Apparel Design and Manufacturing, so I hope to start a fashion label as well. I also hold an A.A.S degree in Design Communication, which focuseson graphic design. I recently completed a teaching certification as well. Currently, I am teaching elementary because education is another one of my loves. I really want to be able to give back to the youth and be a positive role model. I have so many interests and love learning and exploring them all. Though I am a teacher, I am also pursuing my writing. My goal is to write for Major Label artists as well as Independent.

Right now I am working with independent artists. I have written a great amount of songs that have not been recorded. I am in the process of recording songs and building a demo to promote to artists, producers, and labels. I am more determined than ever to fulfill this love, this passion of mine. I am interested in collaborations as well as writing for producers.

I played clarinet years ago, but that's about as far of a musician that you will find in me. I am not a musician, though I whole-heartedly wanted to play piano and acoustic guitar. I just love music. I do sing and have been singing since I was 6 years old. I began singing, in church, with my sisters. I love singing, but have no desire to pursue a singing career. I am a writer! Being able to sing does help me ,when it comes to reference vocals, because I am usually able to do them myself.

I grew up in a small town in New Mexico, which is sometimes a forgotten state. I constantly have to inform people that it's a state and not the country of Mexico. Also, I do not speak Spanish thought I have a desire to learn. I currently reside in Las Vegas, but am planning to move to Houston, TX in the summer. Why Houston? Well, I want to be a little closer to home without giving up the complete city life. Plus, I can still work on my songwriting there because I believe that talent is everywhere. I am, however, open to relocating elsewhere if publishing deals arise. There's more to know about me, but that's it in a nutshell.
