With passion, ambition, and drive there is no stopping her. Tara was Born September 30th in Kirkuk, Iraq. She began singing at a young age because music was a part of the family and in her everyday life. Her family moved to the U.S. when she was seven years old, and found her permanent home in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan. From the first day she set foot in America, she was determined to be a star.

Although she knew it would be difficult to follow her dreams, she kept aiming high and did not let anyone stand in her way. Tara learned the English language quickly and fell in love with the music. Singing and dancing became a routine. In high school she participated in all the talent shows, she was in the show choir, concert choir, church choir and sang at all family events. She graduated from Berkley High School and started her singing career while attending college.

Tara recorded her first song "My Paradise" at a professional studio and recorded the rest of her first CD "Ambition" at home in her own studio, with the help of her brother. She has auditioned for American Idol, Gimme the Mic, NYC Fame, and competed at local talent shows, winning the title of the first Chaldean Idol. After that she went to Miami for the New York Music Festival and won best solo performer. She was handpicked by the shows producer to be part of Vote (variety of talented entertainers), a show that debuted in Las Vegas June 25th, 2005. She also starred in an urban musical called "LIFE", in September of 2005 in San Francisco. In March of 2007 she had an appearance on the Tyra Banks Show, with her brother Tone.

Tara is getting her name out across the country by performing in various nightclubs and is known for putting on a great performance, “ I love putting on a show, it is very important to me to be entertaining. I can sing ballads and amaze you, and then I can make you get up from your seat and dance.” She has opened up for artists such as Canadian R&B singers Karl Wolf and Massari, Rapper Trick Trick, singer/rapper Lumidee, and R&B singer Bobby Valentino. Tara has completed another album titled “Down On My Luck”, and it will be available for purchase on Itunes and her website Tarasings.com, in March 2010.
