On a quest...

...to find what is tucked away in a hidden chamber deep within...
because behind walls stacked high that'll leave you wondering if there's a sky...
lies the meaning of my existence...guarded by memories....and blocks laid by those I've held closest to me...

The map I've carved within the walls of my soul...
You see only I know the way to get there...
...and I realize that I must lead the way for you to find it...
but..
...there are times I wonder if I still remember the way...
The captain that leads his crew often loses a few good men...
...I am a prisoner to myself...
...but if I make it back to the chamber where it lies then I will no
longer be bound by these shackles wrapped solidly around my mind...
Use the light from your lantern and look into my eyes..
....a long and winding path lies ahead of you...ahead of me...
...filled with lonely nights at times...

This journey...
...starts with me...
& whether or not someone else discovers the inexplicable gift behind these walls..
...ends with me...

You see I once was willing to share this prize...
but was manipulated by the greed of men who chose to lie and steal from me..
I was fortunate enough to take back what was rightfully mine and now it is safely tucked away...

It radiates from within...

I am on a quest to see if I can hold it close to me & share it with the likes of you without getting it taken away again...
