Where your word's become art, and your thought's become music

Whats the best way to come out of a writers block? When u've bin working non stop it takes more then jus a picture, a video, a movie etc. to come out of the dry spell. For myself being more of a producer everything start to sound the same and i have to take a few days off and jus play old old records wit different cord changes and sounds. GIVE ME SOME FEEDBACK YA"LL WE ALLL GET IN IT HOW DO U GET OUT??????!!!!!!!!!!!

other writers inspire me so I listen to other people's work. I put on my favorite songs.
Write about all the frustrations of not being able to write that you feel.

For example, when you were talking about your frustration and said the words, black and white, I was thinking there's a song right there!

My inspiration

Starring at your picture, then staring at my pen
don't know where to start, don't know where to end
How do I say I love you,
my mind's blank like this paper
then I looked at again at your picture
and now I know what to do

Baby you are the song I wish to write
The breath that keeps me alive
The remedy to this melody
When I can’t find nothing to write
You, you, you help me draw on things in life
I can put down what's on my mind
just when I look at your pretty smile
cuz baby you're my inspiration
my inspiration, my inspiration, my …inspiration.

hey sam
Nice subject :)
- when I loose my composing flow - I usually say to myself " let it go" and I go for a walk and put it on hold somehow - I use my feelings & experinces to work on - so if I feel rejectet, mad, in love, inspired, loved, sad i use those feelings for writing !

THE PERSON WHO CARES LEAST ABOUT THE RELATIONSHIP CONTROLS THE RELATIONSHIP. BY THAT I MEAN THE RELATIONSHIP YOU WANT IS COMMERICAL SUCCESS AND GREAT CLASSIC ART/MUSIC. BUT DONT FOCUS ON IT, JUST KEEP PERFECTING YOUR CRAFT. OR AS DR STEVEN COVEY SAYS. KEEP SHARPENING YOUR SAW EVEN THOUGH THERE ARE NO TREE'S TO CHOP DOWN....BUT WHEN YOU GET THAT CALL FROM UNIVERSE ( OPPORTUNITY MEETING PREPARATION) TO CHOP THAT TREE DOWN YOU BETTER BE READY!!!!!

YOUR GETTING AN OPPORTUNITY TO GET YOUR ART HEARD OUTSIDE OF YOUR NORMAL CHANNELS. JUST MAKE IT HOT, COMPETITIVE AND UNDENIABLE.

I back off for awhile to get a fresh perspective. Then I might listen to classical, meditations/prayers or P.O.D., rap or Linkin Park, something outside of my genre. A friend suggests getting quiet-turning off all outside influences for a day.
